On Friday, the Tyre major MRF Ltd has posted a 30.68% decline in the standalone net profit at Rs 288.08 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2016 on account of higher expenses.
MRF Ltd has said in a BSE filing that the company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 415.59 crore in the year ago period.
The total expenses of the company, during third quarter, increased to Rs 3,120.92 crore from Rs 2,953.28 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
