Shares of Mukka Proteins Ltd soared 9%, hitting an intraday high of Rs 36.20 on Thursday, 6 March, after the company announced securing multiple orders from Avanti Feeds for the Indian market and Padma Feed for an International deal. 

Mukka Proteins has announced significant supply orders as part of its market expansion strategy. The company will provide fish meal and fish oil to Avanti Feeds under a contract valued at approximately Rs 31.77 crore. Additionally, it has secured an international order from Padma Feed & Chicks worth $220,000 (around Rs 1.91 crore).

Furthermore, the company’s subsidiary, Mukka Proteins Vietnam, has placed an order for a fish meal valued at $1 million (approximately Rs 8.7 crore).

All these orders are set to be executed immediately.

These recent orders further solidify Mukka Proteins’ standing in the global marine protein industry, highlighting its strong partnerships with key industry players and its ability to supply high-quality, sustainable products internationally.

As of now, the company’s total order book stands at approximately Rs 200 crore. In its Q3 FY25 financial report, Mukka Proteins posted a revenue of Rs 308.95 crore, reflecting strong growth. Net profit soared 151% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 26.26 crore, while profit margins rose sharply to 8.5% from 2.0% YoY. Additionally, Earnings Per Share (EPS) increased to Rs 0.88, up from Rs 0.48 YoY, showcasing strong operational performance and effective cost management.

Despite global challenges, such as a record-high Total Allowable Catch (TAC) limit in Peru leading to oversupply and short-term pricing pressures, Mukka Proteins has sustained profitability by maintaining cost-efficient production and diversifying its customer base across multiple regions.

At 2:18 pm, the shares of Mukka Proteins were trading 5.42% higher at Rs 34.83 on NSE.
