Multibagger SME IPO Turns Rs 1.2 Lakh

Lancer Container Lines Ltd is one of the multibagger of IPOs that the Indian stock market has produced in the past six years. 

In March 2016, this public issue was launched at a fixed price of Rs 12 per equity share. The public issue had a par listing on the BSE SME exchange. After listing, this small-cap stock, the company has announced two bonus shares. If an allottee had remained invested in this SME IPO after listing, its Rs 1.20 lakh would have turned to Rs 2.35 crore on Wednesday.

Once the allocation of shares is done, its net shares would have turned to 48,000. As the stock ended at Rs 490.80 per share on Bombay Stock Exchange on 7 Nov 2022, the net worth would have been Rs 2,35,58,400 or Rs 2.35 crore. 

In the second quarter of FY22, this small-cap logistics company reported its net profit shot up year on year from Rs 5.37 crore to Rs 12.22 crore, logging around 127 per cent rise. The income too shot up from around Rs 5.37 crore to Rs 121 crore whereas its total assets shot up from Rs 192.33 crore in the second quarter of FY23 to Rs 470.55 crore in the second quarter of FY23.
