Natco Pharma said that on account of flood caused by rains, its active pharmaceuticals ingredient plant at Chennai has suspended the operations.
It said in a BSE filing that “the company’s wholly owned subsidiary’s active pharmaceuticals ingredient (API) plant has temporarily suspended operations due to folding caused by incessant rains in the plant area”.
It further added that “the company believes that this temporary shutdown should not impact or impair its pipeline launches from the plant”.
