Shares of NBCC (India) Ltd were trading in the green and 1% higher on Friday, 24 January, after the company announced securing two orders worth Rs 229.75 crore.
The first order, worth Rs 148.4 crore, was granted by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare for AIIMs, Bilaspur. A 204-bed undergraduate male dorm, a 334-bed undergraduate female dorm, four nursing college and paramedical sciences lecture halls, 72 dwelling units, and an interactive rooftop photovoltaic power generation system are all part of the project.
The second order, worth Rs 81.35 crore, comes from the Indian Institute of Management in Visakhapatnam. It is for project management consulting services for the construction of a new eating area, dorm, and other amenities at the permanent campus of IIM Visakhapatnam.
Last week, the company reported multiple order wins totalling Rs 405 crore. Among these were construction orders for Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Delhi, and Mumbai.
Last month, it received two orders totalling Rs 489.6 crore.
The first order, worth Rs 459.6 crore, was issued by the Chhattisgarh department of tribal and scheduled castes. Among other locations in Chhattisgarh, the contract calls for the construction of Eklavya Model residential schools in Bastar, Sukma, Dantewada, Narayanpur, Rajnandgaon, and Jashpur.
The second order, worth Rs30 crore, comes from the Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya National Institute for Persons With Physical Disabilities in New Delhi. The contract is for the construction of a permanent composite regional centre building at Jamdoli, Jaipur.
At 12:57 pm, the shares of NBCC were trading 0.36% higher at Rs 92.37 on NSE.
