NBCC Shares Climbed 3% on Bagging Work Orders Totaling Rs 369 Crore

The Order was given by the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education And Research.

Shares of NBCC Ltd were trading in the green and 3% higher on 20 February after the company announced securing work orders worth Rs 369 crore.

In its regulatory filing, the company said that it had received three work orders from different entities totalling up to Rs 369.05 crore. The first order was awarded by Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University, Jhansi, for the development works of Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University at Jhansi, Datia, and new campus viz Morena / Khajuraho, Newari, for a total consideration of Rs 331.9 crore.

The High Court awarded the second work order for the state of Telangana for constructing a single court complex and residential quarters at Boath, Adilabad Dist. Telangana worth Rs 12.17 crore.

The final word order was received from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India for the renovation and furnishing project of ICAI Bhawan, C1 Sector-1, Noida, for a total order value of Rs 24.98 crore.

Earlier last week, the company secured a work order to redevelop the Ministry of External Affairs Housing complex in Delhi for a total consideration of Rs 262 crore.

In the last six months, the shares have given a multi-bagger return of over 200% and a return of more than 320% in one year.

At 11:23 am, the shares of NBCC were trading 1.13% higher at Rs 142.90 on NSE.
