NBCC Shares Gain 1% as Arm Secures Work Orders Worth Rs 215 Crore

The company and its subsidiary received orders worth Rs 215 crore. 

Shares of NBCC were trading in the green and 1% higher on 16 January after the company and its subsidiary received orders worth Rs 215 crore. 

In its regulatory filing, the company said that they have received intimation of work orders for a total consideration of Rs 138.95 crore. The orders awarded to the company are as follows:

  • They have received a work order for the construction of Phase-B works for JNV Palamu-II, Jharkhand, for a total consideration of Rs 10 crore that Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti awarded. 
  • The company has also received orders from Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti for the construction of Phase-A, Phase-B & Phase-B (Bal.) works for JNV East Delhi, JNV Shahdara, and JNV Narela for a total consideration of Rs 126.60 crore. 
  • They have also received an order from the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India for renovation work of additional office space (5000 square feet.) on the 7th floor of Mayur Bhawan, New Delhi, for Rs 2.35 crore. 

In a separate filing, the company said that its Wholly-owned Subsidiary HSCC (India) Limited had received an order from the Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy for a total order value of Rs 76.62 crore. 

The order is a project management consultant for the construction of the Central Research Institute of Yoga and Naturopathy hospital that will have 100 beds at Dibrugarh, Assam. The order has to be executed in a period of 24 months. 

At 2:00 pm, the shares of NBCC had shed all their early gains and were trading 2.23% lower at Rs 89.70 on NSE.
