NBCC Shares Gain 2% After Rs 801 Crore Orders

NBCC
NBCC surges after the company secured Rs 801.20 crore in fresh orders before closing 1.22% higher at Rs 96.

NBCC touched a day’s high of Rs 96.30 after the company secured Rs 801.20 crore in fresh orders before closing 1.22% higher at Rs 96.

According to the company’s exchange filing, the biggest contract is a Rs 780.38 crore project management consultancy (PMC) assignment from the Reserve Bank of India.

The work covers consultancy for the construction of an RBI office complex at Nelapadu and residential facilities for officers and staff at Inavolu in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh.

NBCC also secured another PMC contract worth Rs 20.82 crore from the Odisha School Education Programme Authority (OSEPA).

The project involves constructing hostels across several districts of Odisha under the DA-JGUA Scheme.

The company told the exchanges that both contracts were awarded in the normal course of business.

It also confirmed that neither order involves any related-party transaction or promoter group interest. Execution timelines were not disclosed.

The latest order adds to NBCC’s recent stream of government-backed projects. On 29 July, the company signed an agreement to execute a $75 million affordable housing project in Seychelles covering 1,008 homes at Île Aurore.

Earlier, it had also secured domestic work orders worth around Rs 108.85 crore, including a project from the Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Odisha.

NBCC shares ended the session at Rs 96, up 1.22% on the NSE after touching an intraday high of Rs 96.30. The latest RBI contract accounted for almost the entire value of the new order inflow announced by the company.
