NBCC Shares Gain 2% on Securing Orders Worth Rs 352.13 Crore

The Order was given by the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education And Research.

Shares of NBCC India Ltd were trading 2% higher on 11 January after the company announced securing orders worth Rs 351.13 crore.

In its regulatory filing, the company said that they had secured a work order worth Rs 218 crore from NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology) for the construction of its campus at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh & Modification works of the existing Trade Facilitation Centre as part of the campus.

In a separate filing, the company said that they had secured another order worth Rs 134.13 crore from the Department of Medical Education and Research, Haryana, for the construction of phase-III of BPS Government Medical College, Kanpur Kalan, Sonepat, Haryana.

Both work orders have been awarded domestically and are project management consultancy (PMC) on a deposit work basis.

Earlier in December, the company had announced that they had sold 2.23 lakh square feet of commercial space for a total consideration of Rs 905 crore in the World Trade Centre project at Nauroji Nagar, Delhi.

The company specialises in civil construction projects that include residential and commercial complexes, civil sector infrastructure, national security infrastructure, and PMGSY projects.

At 1:45 pm, the shares of NBCC were trading 0.054% higher at Rs 92.55 on NSE.
