NCC Shares Rally 4% on Securing Rs 3,389 Crore Dam Project 

The domestic order is worth Rs 3,389.49 crore and is expected to be implemented during the next 72 months.

Shares of NCC Ltd rallied 4% on Friday 29 November after the company announced that it had received the Ken-Betwa Link Project Authority’s letter of acceptance.

According to an exchange filing, NCC has been chosen as a successful bidder for the EPC execution of the Daudhan Dam as part of the Ken-Betwa link project.

According to NCC, the domestic order is worth Rs 3,389.49 crore and is expected to be implemented during the next 72 months after its commencement date. GST is not included in the contract value.

NCC declared at the beginning of November that it had received orders totalling Rs 3,496 crore in October. The building division received orders totalling Rs 2,684 crore, the electrical division received orders totalling Rs 538 crore, and the water and other divisions received orders totalling Rs 274 crore.

NCC had won orders of Rs 4,760 crore for the September quarter, bringing the order book total to Rs 52,370 crore.

For the entire fiscal year, NCC has projected order inflows of between Rs 20,000 and Rs 22,000 crore, with revenue growth exceeding 15%.

At 11:37 am, the shares of NCC were trading 1.43% higher at Rs 307.70 on NSE.
