A special opportunity has been offered by NDMC to the defaulters to pay their outstanding registration, conversion or parking charges for putting residential or industrial properties to commercial use by 30 September.

On Thursday, North Delhi Mayor Ravinder Gupta, after the announcement of the scheme has directed to deseal the 11 shops in Cloth Market at Church Mission Road of the Walled City area at Fatehpuri.

He said, “So, NDMC offers a special opportunity to these defaulters to come forward and deposit their outstanding registration/conversion/parking charges etc. voluntarily by September 30 in the respective Zonal offices. After the expiry of this period, other penal action including sealing of premises shall be taken by the civic body.”

“This opportunity till September 30 is being offered by NDMC in public interest” he further added.
