An interim dividend of Rs 560 crore has been declared by the Airport Authority of India for the fiscal year 2016-17.
The AAI had paid a dividend of Rs 482.21 crore to the government for the previous financial year and reported a net profit of Rs 2,537 crore.
According to an official release, AAI Chairman Guruprasad Mohapatra has presented an interim dividend amounting Rs 560 crore to Civil Aviation Minister P Ashok Gajapathi Raju.
The release further said that with this interim dividend, a total of Rs 1,106 crore has been paid by AAI as dividend in the last three years.
