The Adani Enterprise has been aiming to begin work on the controversial Carmichael coal project in Australia in October.
As per a media report, the company aims to spend USD 16.5 billion in Australia, of which an investment of USD 3.5 billion has already been made.
The Chairman of the company, Gautam Adani has said that USD 7 billion is going to be invested in the first phase by 2020 and USD 9 billion over the next 10 years.
