Ajanta Pharma has launched generic omeprazole and sodium bicarbonate capsules that are used in the treatment acid reflux and uclers, in the US market after getting the final approval from the country’s health regulator.
Ajanta Pharma has said in a BSE filing that the company has launched the product in the US through its wholly owned subsidiary, Ajanta Pharma USA Inc.
It further said that the approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) is for the capsules in the strengths of 20mg/1100 mg and 40 mg/1100 mg.
