Apple Inc. reached a US $1 trillion dollar milestone after its stock prices jumped 2.9% to US $ 207.05 during the trading session of Thursday forming its market capitalization of over US $1 trillion by the end of trading session. Apple Inc. became the first US company to ever reach a trillion dollar-mark.

The stock price of Apple inc surged after they released their Q3 financial report which exceeded all the speculations and registered a US $13.8 billion profit on a US $61.1 billion revenue.

Apple Inc is the second company to reach $1 trillion mark after PetroChina which achieved the feat in 2007.
