BHEL has commissioned third unit of the 4×40 mw Teesta Low Dam hydroelectric project stage-IV in West Bengal.
Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has said in a BSE filing that the final unit of the project is also in advanced stages of execution.
According to a statement, the power generation from the project will result in reduction of green-house gas emissions and will help in achieving a low carbon development path for the state as well as the nation.
