Bicon’s CSR arm Biocon Foundation has signed an MoU with Karnataka Health and Family Welfare Department for establishing eLAJ smart clinics in 15 Primary Healthcare Centres across six districts.
Biocon Foundation has said in a statement that the eLAJ model has been designed to deliever data-based healthcare on the basis of socio-demographic and health indicators obtained from community based screenings.
It has further said that this innovative health delievery model will facilitate effective preventive and primary healthcare intervention in the rural areas of Karnataka for the benefit of communities with poor access to quality healthcare.
