The Competition Commission of India has provided its approval to the proposed purchase of 2 percent stake in Micromax by Madison India Opportunities Trust Fund (MIOTF).
The CCI has said in a tweet that it has approved the “acquisition of equity stake in Micromax Informatics Limited by Madison India Opportunities Trust Fund.”
MIOTF has been registered with the capital market regulator as an Alternative Investment Fund.
