The government has said that CIL’s coal output has crossed 9 percent over last year’s production and added that there is “still a very long way to go”.
The Coal Secretary Anil Swarup said that “Coal production by Coal India crosses 9 per cent over last year’s record production. Well done. Keep it going. Still a very long way to go.”
The production of Coal India had jumped 8.8 percent to 321.38 million tonnes (MT) during the April- November period of this fiscal.
