In December, the domestic passenger car sales has increased 12.87 percent to 1,72,671 units from 1,52,986 units of the same month a year ago.
According to the data released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the motorcycle sales has declined 5.93 percent to 7,24,807 units last month from 7,70,519 units a year ago.
In December, the total sales of two-wheeler declined 3.10 percent to 11,67,633 units as compared to 12,04,942 units in last year during the same month.
