The sales of domestic passenger cars increased by 9.62 percent to 1,77,604 units in the month of July as compared to 1,62,022 units of the same month last year.

According to the data released by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), the sales of motorcycle in the country increases 10.98 percent during the month to 8,97,092 units from 8,08,332 units in the corresponding month last year.

The total sale of two wheeler s’ increased by 13.52 percent to 14,76,340 units last month from 13,00,457 units in July last year.
