HDFC Ltd, the mortgage lender proposes to raise Rs 35,000 crore through NCDs for funding the business expansion.

HDFC has said in a regulatory filing that “The board has approved issuance of secured redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) aggregating to Rs 35,000 crore on private placement basis.”

The shareholders of the company have already provided their approval for this.
