HDFC Ltd on Monday, reported 18.1 percent year-on-year (YoY)  increase in the net profit to Rs 1604 crore for the quarter ended September 30.

According to HDFC filing on BSE, it had posted a net profit of Rs 1358 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

For the September quarter, the net interest income (NII) or the difference between interest earned and interest paid grew by 21.4 percent on a year-on-year basis to Rs 2,501 as against Rs 2,059 crore of year ago period.
