Hindalco Industries has posted a net profit of Rs 294 crore for the quarter ended June even when the net sales has declined on a year-on-year basis.
During the year ago period, the company’s bottom line stood at Rs 61 crore.
The net sales stood at Rs 7,597 crore which is down 13 percent from the same period of last year on account of weakness in copper business.
