Rishabh Gupta has been appointed as interim CEO by the realty portal Housing.Com after it sacked co-founder and ex-CEO Rahul Yadav.

Currently, Gupta is chief operating officer in the SoftBank-backed portal and has been named as interim CEO with immediate effect.

Rishabh Gupta, Haresh Chawla and Abhishek Anand (Cheif Technical Officer) will join the operating committee of the company.

Housing.com’s board, on July 1 had sacked Yadav with the immediate effect and said that his behaviour towards investors and media was not “befitting” of a CEO.
