Idea Cellular has said that it will raising Rs 1,000 crore from the market by issuing unsecured NCDs.

It has said in a BSE filing that “The company is proposing to issue Unsecured Redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) amounting to Rs 1,000 crore on private placement basis.”

It added that the NCDs are proposed to be listed on NSE for a tenure of 5 years.
