An agreement has been signed by Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) and Andhra Pradesh government for setting up and run a driving training and traffic research institute at Prakasham district of the state.

MSI has said in a statement that the company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the state government to establish and manage Institute of Driving Training and Traffic Research (IDTR) at Venkatachalam village in Darsi Prakasham district.

For the project, around 20 acres of land will be provided by the Andhra Pradesh government and MSI will run and manage the institute.
