Nalco aims to buy back 25% shares from government

According to a top official, Nalco the state run aluminium maker is going to buy back 25 percent of its shares from the government.

The Mines Secretary Balvinder Kumar has said that “Nalco has agreed to buy back 25 percent of its shares from the government.”

He further said that “Nalco board will meet in next 15 days to decide about the pricing”.

The government, according to sources, aiming to raise around Rs 3,250 crore via selling 25 percent of its shares to Nalco.
