Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) reported a 3.8% rise in the profit levels as their net profit reached to Rs.6143.88 crore from the profit of Rs.5975.12 crore from March-end quarter.

ONGC also registered a 42.6% hike in total revenue of Rs. 27212.83 crore from Rs.19073.54 crore of the previous corresponding quarter of same period.

The market also responded well with the release of quarterly financial report as the stock price of ONGC gained over 1% yesterday.
