On Monday, the South India based Laksmi Vilas Bank has said that Parthasarathi Mukherjee will be the new managing director and chief executive officer of the bank.
It said in a regulatory filing that “The Reserve Bank has given its approval for appointment of Parthasarathi Mukherjee as new MD and CEO of the bank for three years from the date of his taking charge”.
The bank has said in a statement that “Mukherjee brings with him a rich experience of more than 33 years in banking industry. He joins from Axis Bank where he served as group executive (Corporate Relationships and International Business)”.
