Paytm Money, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Paytm has launched Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) on its platform, post-approval from the market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
“With this inclusion, the company becomes a comprehensive platform wherein investors from across all financial and knowledge backgrounds can conveniently access ETFs and start investment journey to accumulate wealth for their various financial goals,” said Paytm.
India’s largest digital financial services platform, Paytm through its subsidiary has made it convenient for first-time investors to initiate their investment in ETFs with a simple nominal amount of Rs 16 in Equity, Rs 44 in Gold and Rs 120 for Nifty.
Paytm Moneyhelps investors to track the price changes in preferred ETFs, with the flexibility to add price alert. The platform also updates the live prices of an ETF to empower investors to exit their positions during the market hours and will receive the money directly in their account.
Advanced investors can also execute intraday trades in ETFs and book their loss/target price orders to automate risk management. Investors will be able to invest on both the Paytm Money app and the Paytm Money website.
