LiveICICI Bank’s board of directors have appointed Sandeep Bakhshi as its Wholetime Director and Chief Operating Officer (COO).
In a disclosure to the exchanges the bank stated that, Bakhshi will be appointed as COO for a period of five years, subject to regulatory approvals, and his term will start from June 19. Bakhshi will be responsible for handling all businesses and corporate operations of the bank.
Bakhshi will report to MD and CEO, Chanda Kochhar and all the executive directors on the bank’s board and its executive management will report to Bakhshi. Further, as long as Kochhar is on leave, due to an inquiry into the alleged Videocon loan deal case , Bakhshi will report to the board.
