On Monday, Siemens Ltd said that it has got an order worth Rs 81 crore from Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW), Varanasi.

The company said in a release, “Siemens Ltd has won a crucial order approximately worth Rs 81 crore from Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW), Varanasi.”

The statement further added that the work scope for the project includes supply and supervision for installation and commissioning of AC-AC traction systems Locomotive Controller for Diesel Electric Locomotive.
