Vertex to invest $210 mn fund in southeast Asian, Indian startups

Vertex Ventures, the venture capital arm of Singapore state investor Temasek Holdings, stated that it has raised $210 million fund for investing in southeast Asian and Indian startups.

It stated that, it is planning to continue its strategy of investing in early stage technology companies in southeast Asia and India across enterprise technology,financial technology and consumer internet.

The firms most recent investments are in SpaceMob, remittance payments firm InstaRem and digital marketer Synup.

The combined team ofΒ  Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India operates from 3 main offices in Singapore, Bangalore and Jakarta.
