Toshiba Transmission & Distribution Systems (India) has announced the completion of a major 3-billion Yen investment (around USD 30 million) at its Hyderabad factory, this expansion would enable it in meeting the growing domestic and global demand.
The investment has increased the production capacity for transformers up by 50 percent and established a new line for production of ‘New Technology’ switchgears like gas insulated switchgears and solid insulated switchgears.
