NHPC‘s board is going to consider the proposal of raising up to Rs 2,250 crore next week by issuance of corporate bonds on private placement basis.
NHPC Ltd has said in a BSE filing that “The board of directors of the company in its meeting scheduled to be held on November 18, 2016, will consider the proposal for raising of Rs 2,250 crore through issuance of ‘V’ series corporate bonds on private placement basis.”
The proposed issue is out of Rs 4,500 crore that has been already approved by the shareholders in the annual general meeting held in September.
