The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), the national drug price regulator has fixed the ceiling price of 54 drug formulation packs that includes drugs that are used for treatment of bacterial infections, cancer, arthritis and asthma.
Moreover, the retail price of two drugs has also been fixed by it.
The regulator has said in a statement that “National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has fixed/revised ceiling prices of 54 scheduled formulations of Schedule-I under Drugs (Price Control) Amendment Order, 2016 and retail price of two formulations under DPCO, 2013.”
