NTPC has said that it will shortly start the coal production from Pakri Barwadih coal mine which is located in Jharkhand.
It has also said that the company is in advanced stage of awarding contract for appointment of mining and development operator for its two more mines.
It has said in a statement that “NTPC Ltd, India’s largest power generating company has successfully exposed seam-III in its first coal mine-Pakri Barwadih located in the state of Jharkhand after removal of over burden of 7 lakh cubic metre.”
The statement further said that NTPC is in the advanced stage of awarding contract for appointment of Mining cum Development Operator for its two more mines.
