Shares of NTPC Green Energy Ltd are trading flat after touching a day’s high of Rs 101.95 on 28th October. This is even as the company announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Paradip Port Authority to explore collaboration on green hydrogen initiatives. The agreement was formalised on 27th October, 2025, during India Maritime Week in Mumbai. It occurred in the presence of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

Under the MoU, NTPC Green Energy and Paradip Port Authority will jointly develop and implement green hydrogen-based mobility projects within the Paradip Port area. They will also explore opportunities for setting up projects related to green hydrogen and its derivatives. The collaboration supports NTPC’s goal of accelerating India’s shift to clean energy. Furthermore, it promotes sustainable port operations.

Last week, NTPC Green Energy announced that 9.9 MW of its 92.4 MW wind power project in Bhuj, Gujarat, became commercially operational on 25th October, 2025. The project was developed by Ayana Renewable Power Four Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Ayana Renewable Power Pvt Ltd. It is a wholly owned arm of ONGC NTPC Green Pvt Ltd. This is a joint venture between ONGC and NGEL.

NTPC Green Energy Q1 Results

For the April-June quarter of FY26, NTPC Green Energy reported a 59% year-over-year rise in net profit to Rs 220 crore from Rs 138 crore last year. Revenue increased 17.6% to Rs 680 crore. Meanwhile, EBITDA grew 17.8% to Rs 603 crore. The company maintained a strong EBITDA margin of 88.6%, despite higher expenses.

At 12:23 PM, shares of NTPC Green Energy were trading 0.49% higher at Rs 101.50 on NSE.
