Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang urged the Trump administration to revise AI chip export rules, saying American companies need support to expand globally.
Speaking in Washington, Huang stressed the need to speed up the global spread of US AI technology through better policies.
Nvidia, which leads in AI chips, currently faces export restrictions to China, where firms like Huawei are rapidly advancing.
Huang noted that China is nearly on par with the US in AI development, calling it a strong competitor.
In terms of manufacturing, he backed policies that support onshoring and said the US has the will and resources to produce AI chips domestically.
At the White House, Huang highlighted Nvidia’s pledge of up to $500 billion in US AI infrastructure and called for strong energy policies to support AI growth.
