US chipmaker Nvidia will supply 18,000 advanced AI chips to Saudi Arabia’s Humain, an AI startup backed by the country’s sovereign wealth fund.
The chips will power a 500 megawatt data centre developed in Saudi Arabia for a major AI infrastructure project.
The partnership was announced during a White House-led trip to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE to boost AI collaboration.
Nvidia’s GB300 Blackwell chips—its latest and most powerful AI processors—will be used in the project.
Saudi Arabia is expanding its AI capabilities and cloud computing network through global partnerships and foreign investment.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the collaboration supports the Kingdom’s vision of building AI infrastructure for its people and businesses.
