On December 16, 2022, ONGC hit a high of 1.02% to trade at Rs 148.9. The S&P BSE Oil & Gas index is up 0.16%. The index is up 3.26 % over November. Other stocks of GAIL (India) Ltd added 0.26%, and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd increased by 0.32%. The S&P BSE Oil & Gas index rose 13.97 % over 2021 compared to the 6.23% surge in benchmark Sensex.
