The Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan of Madhya Pradesh has said that the yoga guru Ramdev’s Patanjali group has been exploring the possibility of opening a food processing unit in the state.

He said that the “Patanjali Group wants to set up a food processing unit and for this the group has scouted places near Pithampur Industrial Area (in Dhar district). We will help Patanjali Group as per our food processing policy to set up a unit.”

He further said that “ITC Ltd too has shown interest in setting up a unit in the food processing sector. The state government will help the company.”
