On Wednesday’s morning session, Pharma shares were trading lower with their sectoral index trading lower.
Shares of Cadila Healthcare down by 0.47 per cent, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories down by 0.80 per cent and Lupin down by 0.46 per cent were the top losers the index.
Additionally, Piramal Enterprises was down by 0.29 per cent, Divi’s Laboratories down by 0.20 per cent and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries down by 0.44 per cent too were trading low.
The Nifty Pharma index was trading 0.38 per cent down at 8316.05 around 10:05 am.
Benchmark BSE Sensex was up 79.42 points at 39,210.46 while the NSE Nifty50 index was up 24.50 points at 11,687.10.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 27 were trading in the green, while 23 were in the red.
