Ajay Piramal, group Chairman stated that, Piramal Enterprises will be raising approx Rs.7,000 crore in the next few months.

As per Piramal, the company’s board has recently announced Rs.5,000 crore qualified institutional placement(QIP), and will further raise Rs.2,000 crore through right issue.

Further he stated that, it will be the first time when compulsory convertible debenture (CCDs) is being issued to QIPs.
