PM Narendra Modi praised Indian women’s achievements on International Women’s Day and said his government would keep focusing on women’s empowerment via its different schemes with a focus on dignity as well as opportunity.

“On Women’s Day, I salute our Nari Shakti and their achievements in various fields. From financial inclusion to social security, healthcare to housing, entrepreneurship education, many efforts has been made to put our Nari Shakti at the forefront of India’s development journey. These efforts will continue with even greater force in the coming times,” he said on Twitter.
