Shares of Power Mech Projects Ltd surged 3% on Tuesday, 13 May, after the company announced securing a township project worth Rs 971.98 crore from Telangana Power Generation Corporation Ltd.

This project entails soil investigation, engineering, design and construction of an integrated township with infrastructural works consisting of independent quarters (A & B type) and multistoried (Stilt +10 floors) residential quarters (D, E & F type), including a fire fighting system, Hospital building, school building, clubhouse, commercial complexes, indoor stadium, multipurpose function hall, sports complex, security rooms & maintenance offices, site levelling and grading, roads & drains, construction of underground potable water tanks, OHSR, septic tanks & STP, avenue plantation, parking sheds, and Rainwater harvesting pits.

Furthermore, the project will focus on constructing a BT approach road to the township, which will include a bridge over Tungapadu Vagu, a main gate and internal compound walls, street lights, and a substation at Yadadri Thermal Power Station.

The project is planned for Yadadri Thermal Power Station in Nalgonda district.

In April 2025, Mirzapur Thermal Energy in Uttar Pradesh placed an order of Rs 425 crore with the business.

The company has got a Rs 972.135 crore order from the NHAI to construct a 4-lane bypass in Jharkhand using a hybrid annuity mechanism.

At 2:34 pm, the shares of Power Mech were trading 1.77% higher at Rs 2,773.60 on NSE.
