The Punjab National Bank has reported 62 per cent decline in its standalone net profit to Rs 306.56 crore in the fourth quarter ended March 31.
A year ago in the same period it has reported a net profit of Rs 806.35 crore.
Bank’s total income during the quarter increased by 7.6 per cent to Rs 13,455.65 crore as against to Rs 12,498.23 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
For the year, PNB posted a 8.4 per cent decline in its net profit to Rs 3,061.58 crore compared with Rs 3,342.57 crore in the previous financial year.
Bank’s total annual income increased by 9.21 per cent to Rs 52,206.09 crore at the end of financial year 2015 as against to Rs 47, 799.96 in FY 2014.
