Railtel Corp Shares Gain 3% on Securing Order worth Rs 36.35 Crore

The company said that the order has to be executed by 19 July 2024.

Shares of Railtel Corporation of India Limited were trading 3% higher on 26 March after the company announced that it had received an order worth Rs 36.35 crore.

In its regulatory filing on 23 March, the company said that it had received a work order from the Centre For Development Of Advanced Computing for VMWare virtualization licences with 3 years of support amounting to Rs 36.35 crore, which has to be executed by 19 July 2024.

In the same month, the company received the work order from the State Project Director (SPD) Bihar Education Project Council (BEPC) for the supply of Student Kits for classes 6 to 12 for a total consideration of Rs 99.01 crore and an order for the supply of teaching and learning material for classes 1 to 5 for Rs 130.60 crore.

Earlier, the company announced that it secured an order from the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai for the supply, installation, testing, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of HMIS for the Health Department of BMC for a total order value of Rs 351.95 crore.

Furthermore, the company also secured a work order from the Odisha Computer Application Centre to establish an IP-MPLS Network Connectivity in Odisha under OdishaNet Phase 1.0 for a total consideration of Rs 113.46 crore.

At 12:45 pm, the shares of Railtel were trading 2.63% higher at Rs 369.75 on NSE.
