Shares of RailTel Corporation of India Ltd surged 3% on 18 June after the company announced receiving a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Zoram Electronics Development Corporation (Zenics).
The contract is for the execution of the Mizo Fibre Grid Network (MFGN) project, which is due to be completed by 5 September 2026. The expected order size, according to the bid, is Rs 43.99 crore.
At its meeting on 15 June 2025, the company board approved the suggestion of a final dividend of 8.5% of paid-up share capital (Rs 0.85 per share) for the fiscal year 2024-25. This final payment is in addition to the interim dividends of Rs 2 per share that the company has previously paid for the fiscal year 2024-25.
Earlier on 11 June, the business received a work order from South Eastern Coalfields for Rs 11,94,89,669.
On 12 July 2024 and 03 March 2025, the stock reached a 52-week high of Rs 618 and a low of Rs 265.30, respectively.
At 11:37 am, the shares of RailTel were trading 1.16% higher at Rs 431.55 on NSE.
